ANNA BOHNENGEL,

MS, RDN, LDN

Anna offers a lighthearted, realistic approach to nutrition. Trained at the National Institutes of Health, she has spent most of her career at Oregon Health & Science University, specializing in health promotion, workplace wellness and weight management. She has years of experience helping women achieve their healthiest, happiest self through a fresh, simple and results-driven approach.

When not at Alavita, Anna is cooing over her baby boy, Oliver, born in August of 2017. She always knew she wanted to be a mom, but had no idea it would be this good. Being a mom has filled her with overwhelming gratitude and so. much. love. She is now dedicated to helping women achieve the same profound joy as they venture into mamahood.

It is a rare day that Anna doesn’t make time for movement, whether that be yoga, pushing a stroller, strength training at a Portland fitness studio, or slinging pots & pans on an ambitious batch-cooking Sunday. It’s an even rarer day that she doesn’t hit the sack by 9 p.m. Sleep, play and good food are essential to her happiness, so she makes them non-negotiables. She believes strongly in prioritizing self-care, whatever that means for you, as the first step to being a confident, strong and loving mama.

MEGAN LANDRUM,

RDN, LDN

Megan’s nutritional foundation started at Oregon Health Science University (OHSU) where she was trained and began her career as a Pediatric Dietitian at OHSU’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Here she learned and gained experience from some of the top nutrition professionals and health care providers in the country. Megan realized during this time that there is nothing more rewarding than helping families find strategies to live healthier, more vibrant lives.

Megan is particularly interested in the gut microbiome of both mom and baby. She was part of the original Evivo team that adapted 15 years of research from the UC Davis into a translational microbiome solution for newborns. She continues to act as an in-house Registered Dietitian and infant gut health expert for Evivo, the first clinically-proven probiotic for babies.

Through her personal and professional experiences, Megan deeply understands the role food can play in wellness and how a solid nutritional foundation can often be the missing component to optimal health. She is dedicated to educating moms and mamas-to-be on ways to provide the healthiest start for themselves and their little ones.

In her free time, you can find her at yoga, exploring in the great outdoors or indulging in the Portland food scene.
