Kombucha Basil Mango Mocktail
Where are all my pregnant mamas at? Who says you can't enjoy a celebratory drink this summer?! We've been scheming up some non-alcoholic mocktails for you to sip in style, coming to you just in time for 4th of July!
The one we bring to you today is a kombucha mocktail. You might be thinking, "doesn't kombucha have alcohol in it?" Yes, kombucha is a fermented tea and the process of fermentation produces alcohol. However, store-bought kombucha is regulated to ensure it has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). Homemade kombucha is a different story. These can get close to the ABV of a light beer, so be wary of your friend's at-home concoction.

kombucha basil mango mocktail
- 1/2 cup mango
- 2 handfuls basil
- squeeze fresh lemon juice
- 14-oz bottle Lemon Ginger Cayenne Brew Dr. Kombucha
- frozen mango cubes (optional)
Set out two 16-oz wide-mouth mason jars.
In each jar, muddle 1/2 cup mango, 1 handful basil and squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Fill jars with ice to top + several cubes of frozen mango (frozen mango optional).
Pour kombucha over ice evenly into each jar.
Stir to incorporate the muddles fruit and herbs.
Garnish with more basil and slices of lemon as desired.
