Kombucha Basil Mango Mocktail

Where are all my pregnant mamas at? Who says you can't enjoy a celebratory drink this summer?! We've been scheming up some non-alcoholic mocktails for you to sip in style, coming to you just in time for 4th of July!

The one we bring to you today is a kombucha mocktail. You might be thinking, "doesn't kombucha have alcohol in it?" Yes, kombucha is a fermented tea and the process of fermentation produces alcohol. However, store-bought kombucha is regulated to ensure it has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). Homemade kombucha is a different story. These can get close to the ABV of a light beer, so be wary of your friend's at-home concoction.

We love Brew Dr. Kombucha because they remove all alcohol from their product after fermentation, so you can rest assured that you are keeping baby out of harm. Not to mention, Brew Dr. is a local Portland company and we are very proud of brands that originate in our hometown :)
